Hello, I'm Dr. Kyung Eun Paik.

As a psychiatrist specializing in children, adolescents and adults, I've had the privilege of walking alongside families through various stages of their loved one's journey to better health. Whether your child is otherwise healthy or facing multiple medical challenges, seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming. Please know — you are not alone, and you are welcome here.

I founded Pia Neuropsychiatry to bring to life a vision of care that is both deeply personal and clinically rigorous. My practice is built on a model designed to deliver the highest standard of care, tailored to each individual. In addition to general psychiatry, I bring specialized expertise in pediatric neuropsychiatry and the psychiatric care of individuals with Down syndrome.

My passion for patient care is the driving force behind my work in teaching and research. I serve as an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and I am actively involved in organizations including the American Neuropsychiatric Association and the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group.

I am committed to providing evidence-based, integrative, and personalized care. Every treatment plan I develop is curated to reflect the most current advances in psychiatry and is tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals.
